FAQs

Can I register for classes at any time?

This depends. Depending on the class, registration may be open all trimester. In this case, class fees will be adjusted. With most classes, however, it is recommended to attend all 10 classes due to the nature of the lessons.

How can we get a discount on class tuition?

The base class tuition is based on our optional drop-off structure. Multiple discounts are available to our families:

Volunteer Discount: The success of our program depends on our volunteers and we appreciate them. For that reason, families with a parent willing to fill open volunteer roles will receive a generous 25-100% tuition discount on total tuition (for up to 3 enrolled children). These roles may include class leaders, class helpers, administrative positions, setup/cleanup, etc.

Multi-Child Discount: For families with 2-3 children enrolled in classes, 10% will be deducted from your total tuition. For families with 4+ children enrolled, 25% will be deducted from your total tuition.

Does bloom offer scholarships?

We try to! We believe that social and educational opportunities such as those we offer should be accessible to all homeschooling families. Depending on the current attendance of the program, a limited number of scholarships will be available to families experiencing financial hardship. Reach out directly for more information.

Do I have to enroll my child in all three class hours?

Nope. If your child is 6-12 years old, enroll your child in the elective classes he/she is interested in. That may be 1, 2 or all 3 hours.

*Pre-K & Kinder classes are a single 3 hour class per week.

Where will classes take place?

Classes will be conducted at a rented facility in St. Clair County (Clyde Twp.). For safety reasons for our students, the exact address is not provided until the time of registration.

Do I have to register for classes to be a part of bloom?

While the core of our program is our weekly classes, all homeschool families are welcome to be a part of our Bloom family. We do offer a social only membership that allows families to join us at organized field trips and other events. To assist in covering the cost of our program, an annual membership fee will apply to all members regardless of class enrollment. Please join our private Facebook group here to stay up to date on current events such as meetups and field trips, receive homeschooling support, and connect with other local homeschooling families.
